Detroit agreed to terms with free-agent cornerback Eric Wright late Thursday. The former Cleveland Brown event sent out a late night tweet donning his new team's gear. Although the Lions had target Cincinnati's Johnathan Joseph, Wright is still starting material -- especially in secondary-desperate Detroit.
Scout.com NFL insider Aaron Wilson provided us with this summary on Wright:

Eric Wright is a fast, solid cornerback with good size who has occasional lapses in concentration and coverage.
He's coming off a rough season, but has a lot of physical talent.
Aggressive, upbeat personality should fit in well in the locker room.
Not a great cornerback, but has the capability to fit into the very good category.
This should end Lions' interest in Chris Carr and Fabian Washington.
