| Biography: |
| Dominic Raiola plays the center position at a high level, especially considering he is somewhat at a disadvantage due to his overall size and strength. Raiola possesses several strong qualities, he uses his hands well, gets and maintains technical positioning, and has displayed the skills to get to the second level of the defense consistently. His overall athletic ability, ability to adjust and the ability to hold his ground are just a few of his finer attributes. He still needs to improve in his quick recognition of defensive schemes and is slow at times in setting up into his stance. Large two-gap type defensive tackles cause him problems, but he is learning to use his overall base and balance technique to avoid being pushed back into the backfield as was a problem he struggled with earlier in his career. |
